Air quality is of prime importance
A survey of 1,400 people conducted by Bauhaus-Universität Weimar showed that 80 percent of tenants set great store by the quality of air in their apartment. Roughly two thirds find cozy temperatures important, and low energy costs come third on the assessment scale, with 56 percent of mentions. Mold, a strong smell in the rooms and high heating costs are considered completely unacceptable by interviewees, and they are particularly disturbed by noise.
