Energy-efficient architecture
The 3rd International Congress Baushaus Solar will take place in Erfurt, Germany, from November 10–11, 2010.
The aim of this congress is to demonstrate and develop ways in which architecture and energy issues can be harmonized. Included are also single-case solutions and the integration of buildings that are old or listed. The event is organized by SolarInput e.V, the association of Thuringia solar companies, research and educational institutes, solar initiatives, state institutes and local authorities, together with the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and LEG; the Thuringia state development company. Abstracts for presentations may still be submitted until February 12 on the subjects of architecture and solar building elements, energy-efficient building and renovation, city planning and sociological change, landscape architecture and energy systems, as well as decentralized energy supplies and networks. Each author will be informed in April as to whether his or her presentation or project has been accepted.
