With its high light diffusion, PLEXIGLAS truLED® provides uniform brightness with backlight units. That means the sheets are very uniformly lit by a small number of LEDs, and disturbing fluctuations in luminance are avoded.

This property offers the following advantage: The LEDs can be placed closer together behind the sheets than with conventional acrylic, without the individual light sources appearing as dots and without hot spots. At the same time, PLEXIGLAS truLED® with its superior diffusion is also suitable for very intricate applications where very little space is available for installing the LEDs behind the sheets.
